How do I list my items for sale on GearSource?

You're definitely in the right place if you want to sell gear! But first, there are a couple of steps you need to take.

You need to SignUp as a seller on GearSource
Once registered, click Add a Listing and follow the steps.

You want to SELL your gear, not just list it, right? Here are some tips to help take your listings from good to great, with faster, cleaner transactions:

Take Great pictures - photos are better than words when describing your gear.
Don't hide the wear and tear. Be honest about any issues.
Describe your item as accurately as possible — don't rely on the manufacturer's description. Every piece of used gear has its own history. A detailed description helps buyers make a more informed decision and understand exactly what they will receive.
Be clear about what IS included and what is NOT included. Explain the condition, the age, the voltage, specifications, type of use (touring, rentals, installs, etc), and any defects that could affect the value. Your goal is a happy buyer
Keep your availability up to date. If you sold a piece of gear or put it on long-term rental, remove it from the site.
Equally important... check and update your pricing regularly. The market changes and you want to keep your listings competitive and in line with other, similar items.
