Are listing prices negotiable?
How to submit an offer on a listing
Here’s how to submit an offer on a listing:
- If a seller has turned on Accept Offers for a listing you will see the Make an offer button under the Add to cart button on the listing (see below).
- Once you are logged in, click on the Make and offer button, this will open the offer form where you will see the Listing name you are making the offer on and the current listing price. You will need to add the following:
- Quantity: if multiple units available, select the quantity you are looking to purchase from the dropdown.
- Offer: indicate your currency and the offer price. Note: offer price is per unit.
- Need by date: this is optional and provides insight into the timeline for an order.
- Cick Submit offer to send the offer to the seller. This will send and email to the seller notifying them of an offer. The seller will then have the option to Accept, Counter or Delcine your offer.
- When a Seller responds to your offer, you will receive an email and there will be a notification flag in your account advising you that a Seller has either Accepted, Countered or Delcined your Offer.
- If the Seller Accepted your offer you will be asked to complete the check out by adding the listing to your cart and checking out.
- If the Selller Countered your offer you can either accept their counter offer or you can counter back.
- If the Seller Declines your offer you can either try submitting a new offer with a high price or you can purchase for th listing price if you like. If you do not want to do either of those you can always create a NeedZone Request for the item you are trying to purchase.
But even some sellers who haven’t set up make offer might accept a lower offer. Just email or chat with us to make your offer.
